New member profile: the’artyvegan – makers of artisanal plant-based food, made with heart

We welcome new ISEP member, the’artyvegan – a father and daughter culinary duo who have been vegan for over thirty years, bringing fresh, handmade, eco-conscious, low impact goods to food-lovers across London. They specialise in the sustainable uses of the soya bean, and focus on producing high quality, vegan, deli-style foods, using an innovative craft approach & always striving to be completely zero waste.

For example, they use okara pulp, waste residue from making tofu, in their freshly baked bread, soap, and make ice packs for nationwide delivery edible by making okara its primary ingredient.

They pride themselves in offering a diverse range of products, which attempts to maintain affordability and help cater for all. So, from their fully compostable (both home and industrial) packaging, bulk buy options, the ingredients they source and the people they strive to work with – they are continually striving to offer tasty food options & recipe options with a minimal carbon footprint.
